It is recommended to take pictures during the repair process to use as a reference point. Remove both of the back covers. The first board we are going to replace is the power supply board. I will start by disconnecting all of the cables and connections on the board. Remove the screws and the board from the chassis. Align the replacement board and install the screws to secure the board to the chassis. I will reconnect all of the cables and connections on the board. To make it easier you will want to disconnect this ribbon cable that is connected on the bottom of the TV. You can disconnect it on the bottom of the TV or on the main board just to get the cable out of the way. The t-con board has a metal cover on it, disconnect all of the cables before removing the cover. Remove the cover and the board from the chassis, then flip it over and remove the board from the metal cover. Install the replacement board on the metal cover and then install the metal cover to the chassis. Reconnect all of the cables. Reconnect that ribbon cable that connects on the bottom of the TV. The next board we are going to replace is the main board. Start by disconnecting all of the cables and connections. Remove all of the screws and the board from the chassis. Align the replacement board and install the screws to secure the board to the chassis. Reconnect all of the cables. TV Repair Made Easy™ © 2017 ShopJimmy.com, LLC.
