In this video we will show how to replace the boards in this LG TV repair kit, it is recommended to take pictures during the repair process to use as a reference point. Be sure your TV is unplugged. Remove the screws and the back cover off the TV. The first board we are going to replace is the power supply board. I will start by disconnecting all of the cables and connections on the board. Remove the screws and the board from the chassis. Align the replacement board and install the screws to secure the board to the chassis. I will reconnect all of the cables and connections on the board. The next board we are going to replace is the t-con board. I will begin by removing the screws and the plastic piece that is covering the t-con. Disconnect all of the cables connected to the board. Remove the screws and the board from the chassis. Align the replacement board and install the screws to secure the board to the chassis. Install the screws and connect the ribbon cable. Do not tighten the screws all the way. You will want the t-con to be a little loose, while attaching the remaining two ribbon cables. Connect the two ribbon cables and then tighten the screws once you are done. Reinstall the plastic piece that goes back over the t-con board. The next board we are going to replace is the main board. Start by disconnecting all of the cables and connections. Remove all of the screws and the board from the chassis. Align the replacement board and install the screws to secure the board to the chassis. Reconnect all of the cables.
