On 1st December 2014, World AIDS Day, the cast and crew of Shotgun Theatre's production of Rent teamed up with Exeter Debating Society for an evening of discussion on the topic of HIV/AIDS. The motion: This house believes that society has not come to terms with HIV/AIDS. AIDS is one of the important themes of Rent, and something that the directors are highlighting in the Shotgun production.
