Shu's video: This is everything I ate in Japan day three

Everything I ate in Hakone Japan day three 🇯🇵 I tried a lot of new Japanese foods today! After an early morning onsen, I was more than ready for breakfast. Thankfully, the buffet is also included in my hotel stay (exceptional value) and there was even more selection (and way tastier) than dinner the night before! I had: - Miso soup - Mentaiko spicy cod roe with seaweed - Natto fermented soybeans (a separate video to come) - Hijiki edible seaweed and burdock - Pickled tuna and marinated seafood - Japanese omelette and tofu - Congee with a bunch of toppings and pickled veggies - Fresh lychees and fruit and another sour plum Then it was another travel day to Gora! I stayed at @hakonetent (I really want to post a separate reel about this as the team and the apartment were SO AMAZING - plus, there’s a special treat included as part of your stay…). Spent the afternoon going to the Hakone Open Air Museum (opened in 1969 as the first in Japan with over 120 pieces and a selection of Picasso’s collections of work - more in the YouTube vlog) and then hurtling over to another part of town to the famous Hakone Shrine - but not before a quick stop at 7-Eleven in between activities! I wanted to get to both places before closing time so it was a snack than a sit down meal today. By then, your girl was exhausted and had been rained on for most of the day. Food options nearby were limited and after reading great reviews about the food in the guesthouse (bonus that the team kindly delivered it across to the apartment), I went for the bacon, olive and asparagus pizza, edamame /and their special of the day of aubergine lasagne! I was pleasantly surprised, so affordable too. Went for a late night onsen then edited ready for an extra early wake up… to go to Hokkaido!!! I hope you’re ready for 5 days of snow, seafood, more seafood and ramen and some of the best Japanese foods!
