Shu's video: This is everything I ate in Japan Tokyo Hakone day two

@This is everything I ate in Japan (Tokyo + Hakone) day two
Everything I ate in Japan day two 🇯🇵 a big travel day from Tokyo to Hakone for a winter onsen getaway! For breakfast, I had: - Grilled salmon and sesame kelp dashi-ochazuke from En Dashi Ochuzake from Lumine Shinjuku. It’s 6 min walk from the station! It’s a light healthy breakfast dish of pouring over dashi, hot water or green tea over cooked rice and toppings! This was 600 yen (£3.83) with a topping of broiled cod roe and fried chicken costing 150 yen (£1) For snacks, I had: - iced matcha and mochi from Ichimaruhachi Matchasara, the stalk next to it - Sour plums - Rainbow boss coffee - Curry bread and Kuro-Tomago from Kurotomago Teahouse in Owukadani. These are specialities in the region where raw eggs are boiled in the hot spring water. The volcanic gas and geothermal heat causes a chemical reaction turning the egg shells black! Legend has it, eating an egg gives you 7 years of extra life 🥲 - Dried persimmon Dinner was a buffet included in my hotel stay at Hotel Green Plaza (nearest station is Ubato). The food wasn’t amazing but as it’s an onsen resort in a remote area, food choice seems to be prioritised for the guests and there’s a lot on offer! I had beef sukiyaki, sashimi and raw or marinated seafood, beef curry and desserts before going for a third bathe in the public onsen!
