Command and Conquer Remastered GDI Mission 9 Walkthrough and in this video you can see the new weapon NOD has and that is the obelisk of light, this thing shreds tanks. Mission Briefing: "Take out Nod turrets along shore so Gunboats can move in safely on the Nod base. The Nod base must be destroyed. If gunboats can get in, they should be able to destroy the base with no difficulty. Keep an eye out for the new weapon Nod is rumored to be working on." Strategy: I did this hoping in the remastered version the gunboats would do something useful and well no they did not. First build your base and get it protected from the west and south sides using guard towers. Destroy the gun turrets on the other side of the river, a chinook will drop some troops off for that. Now you can either do what I did and attack from the rear of the base with an army of tanks and APC’s etc or you can rush engineer in to the base from the rear entrance and capture as must as you can starting with the construction yard. Then once you have crippled the NOD base, just finish it off with a small army of tanks etc. Do not forget the gun turrets our side of the river or the mission will not complete.
