SiKedek's video: BNHA Lyric Prank - Strange Animal Sparks 2008

My initial entry into a BNHA AU where a few of the UA students are huge fans of Ron and Russell Mael, i.e., Sparks. The L.A. band itself had its beginnings in 1967 (making the group 53 years old!) and is still making music today, with their latest album "A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip" (2020) being released digitally May 15, during the present pandemic. The brothers have long been known for their biting witty lyrics and completely contrastive stage presence, with Russell as the bombastic vocalist and Ron as the ever-stoic keyboardist. In this AU, I've imagined Bakugo as a huge fan - mainly for the name "Sparks" but also for their sarcastic lyrics - as well as Deku (because of course...). Iida comes in as a undercover fan - no one knows that he's a fan because no one has asked him. Personally, this is my favorite band - and has been for quite awhile. And their discography covers over 25 albums which show a clear progression between distinct styles. I have many more ideas for BNHA/Sparks crossover lyric pranks in mind, so please consider this as an homage to both artistic endeavors. I decided to start off with Strange Animal, the 2nd track of Sparks' 2008 album "Exotic Creatures of the Deep", because the premise is extremely "quirk"-like: the main character can physically go into any song, evaluate it, and then "clean up" any songs he sees deficient. I naturally thought that a couple of UA students would freak out about this possibility, so here's my attempt at this. Just imagine: this song was written in 2008, years before Horikoshi-sensei published his one-shot My Hero in 2014. Could he have heard of this song before and have been inspired by it?
