Signal Hill Productions's video: AMTK 90213 F40PH NPCU Vs Canon PowerShot

@AMTK 90213 (F40PH NPCU) Vs. Canon PowerShot
AMTK 90213 (EMD F40PH "Cabbage" NPCU) leads Amtrak 692 (Amtrak Downeaster) through Scarborough, Maine, knocking over my camera with a whoosh of air. As much as I love my one-foot tripod, I've learned from experience that it doesn't stand a chance against any train traveling at a speed greater than 30 mph. The real question here is why I decided to set it up where I did, knowing that this would happen. The answer is simple: I forgot. Luckily, my brother was able to film the entire train including AMTK 107 (GE P42DC). In the second part of the video is a shot of Amtrak 690. Leading the way is AMTK 139 (GE P42DC), and bringing up the rear is AMTK 82 (GE P42DC). I woke up early to catch this train, mistaking its horn for that of a freight. Filmed with a Canon PowerShot SX230 HS and a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX20V in beautiful Cumberland County, Maine. Edited with Apple iMovie. © 2015 Signal Hill Productions
