Silly Reviews's video: INSANE FUEL MILEAGE IN AN OLD MINIVAN

@⛽️ INSANE FUEL MILEAGE IN AN OLD MINIVAN. 🤯
Full Video: https://youtu.be/fRnV5JsvPJQ This is a clip from a video I made featuring how to get an app on my phone to show me that I was getting 100 MPG in my Nissan Quest Minivan without putting in much effort or changing my driving habits at all. What this really shows is how you can manipulate live fuel economy readers to give yourself an instant charge of excitement and satisfaction when you see the Instant MPG surge to triple digits. - Ways To Support - Merch Store: https://www.sillyreviews.com/merch Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/sillyreviews PayPal: https://www.paypal.me/RyanSillyReviews CashApp: https://cash.app/$sillyreviews Venmo: https://Venmo.com/sillyreviews BuyMeACoffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/sillyreviews Bitcoin: 3MoanBGNDLQ3mdjH1e4u2Di7Tuzx1vPydH Litecoin: MFFceWzvqx5KFNjs7Js85cs6naN5RD4ZYp Ethereum: 0x1f42C49Fc6C18a0BD7e1007e078a46F77283f65e * Is it possible to get 100 MPG in a minivan with a combustion engine? It would be very difficult, if not impossible, to get 100 MPG in a minivan with a traditional internal combustion engine. Here are some key reasons why: Minivans are not aerodynamic. They have large, boxy shapes that lead to a lot of aerodynamic drag at highway speeds. This drag requires more energy and fuel to overcome. Sports cars and other streamlined vehicles can achieve much higher fuel economy, partly due to their aerodynamic shape. Minivans are heavy. Their size, passenger capacity, and features like sliding doors and fold-down seats make them weigh significantly more than a typical sedan or small car. More weight means it takes more energy to accelerate and move the vehicle. Low-resistance tires and other efficiency technologies help, but there are limits. Things like low-rolling resistance tires, high efficiency transmissions, and engine stop-start systems can improve MPG, but there are still physical limits. 100 MPG is extremely difficult for any combustion engine vehicle. The most efficient gasoline vehicles today achieve around 50-60 MPG. There are concept/prototype vehicles that can hit 100 MPG, but they require substantial design trade-offs, impractical for a family minivan. So while incremental MPG improvements are possible with minivans, reaching 100 MPG with current engine technology would require major breakthroughs in engine efficiency, massive weight reduction through the use of advanced materials, and likely substantial compromises in size, capacity, and capabilities. A hybrid or electric minivan would have a better chance at reaching 100 MPGe. * What are five of the best and easiest ways to get better fuel economy? Here are 5 great and easy tips to improve your vehicle's fuel economy: Drive smoothly - No jackrabbit starts or hard accelerations. Gentle acceleration and braking saves gas. Observe the speed limit - Wind resistance increases exponentially above 50 mph. Every 5 mph above 50 mph is like paying an extra $0.25 per gallon for gas. Use cruise control on highways - It helps maintain a constant speed and saves gas. Just don't use it on slippery roads. Minimize idling - Idling gets 0 MPG. If stopped for more than 30 seconds, shut off the engine. Except in traffic. Lighten the load - Clear out unnecessary cargo weight. An extra 100 lbs can reduce MPG by up to 2%. Also remove roof racks when not in use. Other tips: make sure tires are properly inflated, change air filters regularly, get routine maintenance checks, avoid excessive A/C use, carpool when possible, and consolidate trips to minimize driving. Following these simple driving and maintenance habits can provide significant fuel savings over time.
