Simon Lock's video: SEGA Saturn MK1 Repair Outcome No Video Optical Drive issues

@SEGA Saturn MK1 Repair Outcome (No Video / Optical Drive issues)
Customer's SEGA Saturn Mk1 in for repair. This one was stated to have disc reading issues then more recently a complete loss of video output via RGB SCART. Device powered on but didn't boot correctly. 1. PSU Board cracked at the front levelling screw (nearest power on switch). PSU board reseated as it was bowed causing ground not to make good contact. This might need replacing in the future. 2. Drive spindle hub too far down. Hub was removed and set at the correct height. 3. Optical sled rails dry, signs of oxidisation/corrosion causing sled to drag / not return properly. Cleaned, metal polished and re-greased. 4. Lens and assembly dirty. Cleaned. 5. Optical drive pot slightly out causing intermittent re-seek. Slight gain adjustment has brought that back normal. Calibrated for Saturn game discs and CD-R audio.
