This is where the demon dentist Desmond D'Mello had his practice. For years he failed to wash his hands or change his gloves, passing on the risk of HIV and other infections to thousands of patients. He was secretly filmed using instruments for more than one patient without sterilising ­equipment. Claims against NHS England are set to reach around 4 million pounds. An investigation was held after a woman died soon after visiting the dentist. Mr D'Mello has since been suspended.
