Simon Spear's video: Turtles that Lunch

@Turtles that Lunch
Shark and Yolanda Reef in the Ras Mohammed Marine Park is one of the busiest dive sites in the world. In peak season literally hundreds of divers descend there every day, so spending 10 mins alone with a Turtle while it munches on its lunch is an almost unimaginable experience. Zoe filmed this beautiful footage just last week in a gap between dive groups. Eventually a group realised what was going on and spooked both the turtle and Zoe away after they closed in on all sides, but it was great while it lasted! The Ras Mohammed Marine Park in general and Shark and Yolanda in particular is in remarkable condition considering the diver traffic of varying levels of proficiency. It never gets boring diving there and is definitely one of our favourite dives.
