Eatyourkimchi Studio's video: Green Tea Ice Cream and Hand-drip Tea in Shizuoka

Shizuoka Prefecture: when living in Japan, locals know it as the Green Tea Capital, but if you speak to foreigner visitors, it's a lesser known place.  And that's a shame because they've been lovingly growing, harvesting, and roasting over 40% of Japan's Green Tea for hundreds of years.  Yes, we’re very into coffee, but now that we’re living in Japan, we decided it was time to expand on our knowledge of Green Tea. There’s no better place to do that than Shizuoka, and it's a quick 1 hour bullet train trip from Tokyo. We get to eat a rainbow of various green tea gelatos, play with a green tea kakigori mad scientist set, enjoy custom roasted and custom hand drip green tea, and speak with a multi-generational Eco green tea farmer to find out what "Eco Farming" really means.
