Guacamole is a very easy dish to put together at home that everybody loves! Join Eric from Simply Elegant Home Cooking as he demonstrates his take on this classic dish! The key to a great guacamole is to use avocados that are perfectly ripe and have a firmness like that of modeling clay. If you use the freshest, best ingredients, your guacamole can rival that of Chipotle or any other Mexican restaurant in town! Be sure to also use lemon or lime as this will keep your avocado fresh and prevent them from browning once you have removed them from the peel. The jalepeno, cilantro, and tomato are all optional but add a very nice touch if you prefer these flavors! Guacamole is good with so many other foods but the classic pairing is corn chips and guacamole.
