The flames of war burst forth. In the southern realms, the valiant men of Gondor and its fiefs stand as a formidable bastion, offering hope and salvation against the encroaching darkness from the east. The malevolent forces of Harad and Khand, fueled by ancient fears and hatred, begin to stir. The resurgent dark lord Sauron marshals his power, drawing all to his cause, while the dreaded Witch King reappears in Minas Morgul. Meanwhile, ominous black ships sailing up the coast pose an enigmatic threat. To the north of Gondor lies the land of the Rohirrim, the horse lords. Despite their once-prosperous kingdom, recent years have rendered them oblivious to the true perils within their borders. To the west, the Dunlendings, known for their simplicity of mind but brutality of heart, harbor a deep thirst for revenge against the horsemen. In Enedwiath, the fisher folk unite, contemplating their shared purpose. Yet, perhaps the most insidious threat to Rohan is internal, as the true intentions of the white wizard Saruman remain shrouded in uncertainty. In the north, the once-vibrant lands of Eriador now sleep, with only a few towns remaining in the Breeland. Unbeknownst to its inhabitants, the northern Dúnedain silently guard against the lurking evils from the far North. The dormant fortress of Carn Dum comes to life, forging new legions of evil men under Sauron's lieutenant, Agandaûr. In the northern reaches, the Snow orcs migrate from the far north to Mount Gundabad, joined by loathsome Goblins issuing forth with brutal war machines. The men of the Anduin, residing in the shadows of the mountains, face the relentless onslaught of both goblins and the reawakened forces of Dol Guldor. Despite the impending darkness, hope persists. The elves of Thranduil's realm and Lothlórien prepare for the impending conflict, joined by the resilient men of Dale, slowly recovering from their recent reforging. To the east, the halls of Dorwinion remain oblivious, indulging in the fruits of their own winemaking, while the Easterlings, under the banner of a great dragon, march forth in splendid golden armor. Amidst this vast tapestry of conflict, a small trinket of immense power remains hidden in Middle Earth—a force unseen before. This era is marked by great strife and reckoning, a time of blood and battle, a time of total war!
