Skydog Sanctuary's video: Leonidas King of Sparta Rescued Wild Mustang

This is Leonidas ❤️ and he was rescued with the generous help of Gerard Butler who paid his bail and matched funds for our fundraiser. Leonidas is a wild horse but curious and smart as a whip. He is a beautiful chocolate color with an X on his forehead. He is covered with little scabs and cuts and his feet are in horrible shape, which shows the neglect and lack of care he has experienced this last year or so. Janelle will be working with him this morning to assess him, and we have the vet coming today to check all 3 of our new saves. This boy was described as a black horse who apparently was ridden long ago but had been left wild for a few years. We don’t have a clean photo of his brand so have no idea about where he is from. He is 6 years old and would like to be left alone and stay away from people and as soon as he’s ready he will be turned out with one of the boys herd. I cannot wait to see him out and back to his old self. Thank you to everyone who donated for him especially @gerardbutler who has the biggest kindest heart and saved this boys life ❤️🙏😊
