Skydog Sanctuary's video: Sweet Pea Wild Rescued Mustang

Sweet Pea 💚💚💚 Another lesser known mare down by the creek grazing with Magnolia. This pretty bay mustang mare was saved from a livestock auction in California. She was so sick and sand colicked for days and required a lot of vet help. We never know when we take a horse in what kind of medical bills they might have, so we always like to keep our vet fund healthy and not have to ask for extra help each time. But of course taking in special needs horses is costly and we do appreciate all your support so so much. Sweet Pea is a shy mare and was in Malibu for quite some time but never really warmed to people due to some rough and abusive handling before we found her. All that is behind her now and she loves running free. Thank you to her sponsor Rebecca B who asked for a horse that nobody knew much about and was under the radar.
