Sean Moore's video: The Val valley model railroad tour 2019 Episode 2

The Val valley model railroad Tour 2019 will be a 7 episode series. In each episode we will look at two parts of the layout. We will see each part / section from a rail-fans point of view then from the modelers point of view. This episode covers Pierson City and Pierson Yard. In Episode We will visit the Pierson diesel shop and the Pierson roundhouse on the edge of Pierson Yard. We will take a look inside the diesel shop and see what the railroad is working on today. Then it will be off to see some of the steam facilities that are still standing. In some places on the Val Valley its like time has just stood still. The old water tower and coal tipple still stand guard. Net we will take a look into the round house and take a spin on the turntable. Last we will have a look at the Val Valleys power board. It’s the method we use to track power consist. The power board shows what locomotives are in what consist and where they are on the railroad. Its an easy to build project you can do!
