Grizzly Slash stage, also known as Crescent Grizzly, from Mega Man X5 for the Sony Playstation PSX. No damage taken, buster only. Features location of the E-Tank and Falcon Armor upgrade capsule. Grizzly Slash is generally considered the weakest of the mavericks, he's a bit pathetic in fact. His movements around the room are slow and predictable, and his ranged attacks are easily evaded. The boomerangs can simply be ducked under. The large slashes may require some wall jumping, but nothing too tricky. He will always create these in pairs- one high, one low. Grizzly Slash will also go off-screen and drill through the rock at various locations throughout the room according to X's current position. You'll have a couple seconds to react as he drills through, however it may be a good idea to constantly stay moving during this phase. Grizzly Slash's weakness is the Spike Ball or Twin Dream.
