SloEnduro's video: SloEnduro powered by Cube: Kamplc Enduro 2015

Rainy Saturday awaited riders of SloEnduro in Bike Park Javornik, hosti sixth Kamplc Enduro. Rain did a good damage on the trails and allready on Saturday some of the riders gave it up and went home, many of them didn’t even entry the race and come to Javornik due to such a bad weather forecast. On Sunday we woke up in a nice sunny and cold morning, but when the sun came across the hill also temperature came up to an ideal for racing, so it was going to be a beautiful day for the riders. Until they hit the trails wetted from Saturday’s rain. Conditions on the trails were really tough, so many riders had a problems even to reach the bottom of each stage, so they didn’t even race their time. It was a survival race for many. Peršak with new victory Despite hard conditions on the trails, best riders didn’t have any extra problems and made a good race. After eight stages Vid Peršak (Orbea Enduro Crew) was happy to win with a bit more than half minute lead ahead of Kristijan Medvešček, who took over the lead after first stages and kept it till the fourth stages, when he was stoped by a flat tire. Lost time on that stage he couldn’t bring it back and had to satisfy with second position. Last spot on the podium was won by Robert Kordež (Black Hole Enduro) who was already more than two minutes back. Top five was concluded by Andrej Bratina (Kamplc Racing) and fourth and Peter Mlinar (KK Črn Trn) on fifth place. Tina ahead of Nina In women’s competition there were only three ladies brave enough to face the trails, but as expected we saw a nice battle between Tina Rejc and Nina Rupnik (MBK SportR.si). Tina won the first two stages, but lost a lot of time in third, so they were both almost lined up and fight was on. Later Tina’s constant riding played a big role in competition, as she was gaining time in each stage which got her a big lead ahead of Nina and she was happy to win another SloEnduro race. Nina had to satisfy with a second position, while Austrian Fleur Jeanquartier (Velochicks.at) ended up on third spot. Fastest junior of the day was Matjaž Istenič (Pedal Racing Team) ahead of Grega Žvan (MBK SportR.si) and Miha Tratnik Bajc (Sloga 1902 Idrija). Robert Kordež was the fastest Master 1 rider, followed by Sebastjan Stres (Kamplc Racing) and Valter Krajnik (MBK SportR.si). Master 2 category was once again won by Primož Štrancar (Orbea Enduro Crew) ahead of Janez Golmajer (MTB Klub Kranj). Kristijan Medvešček won the Hobi category with Austrian Reini Mlinar and Michael Brulz (Radlager Racing) following him on second and third spot.
