March 2019 brought bodysurfers from around the globe together for the Pipeline Bodysurf Contest at "the proving ground" on the North Shore of Hawaii. Leading the pack in preserving, and sharing the aloha & stoke & of bodysurfing on the islands and beyond are Sean Enoka and his crew at Kaha Nalu Hawaii. Sean and I went for a jeep ride around the North Shore as we talked story about the rich culture of the Hawaiian island, and bodysurfing heritage.
