Kanye West has decided to apparently wage war against his own brand partner, Adidas. He's taken to Twitter over the last week or so threatening to go back to wearing Nike and Air Jordans unless the 3 Stripes agree to give in to his demands, which includes a seat at the board table. Is this the right way to go about seeking leverage? Isn't it both ironic that he's threatening to go back to wearing the brand that he claimed to have "jumped over"? Isn't it hypocritical that he's complimenting Nike now, just to spite Adidas, when he's claimed that this similar treatment by the Swoosh was the very reason he signed with Adidas in the first place?
