Social Sudo's video: Largest Beach in India Marina Beach Chennai

@Largest Beach in India | Marina Beach, Chennai
This video is about my visit to Marina beach in Chennai. The Marina beach is the largest beach in India, and World's 2nd Longest Beach in Chennai India. It is nearly 12 to 13 kilometers long. The beach also gets a lot of crowd. The number of people who visit the beach everyday can go near to thirty thousand and this number on weekends can reach near to 50,000. It was the first day of my trip to Chennai. I stayed at a Royapettah Airbnb. The area was lush with many coconut trees. Looking at the coconut trees around me filled me with the desire to drink coconut water. I took a rikshaw from Royapettah to the beach. The rikshaw driver dropped me outside the Vivekanand House. Vivekanand House is a beautiful buidling for exhibitions about Vivekanand's life. But sadly it was closed at the time I reached there, so I could not see it from inside. Lighthouse is nearly a kilometer away from Vivekanand House, so I chose to walk there. On the way I found some very friendly people and had some great conversation with them. I also gained subscribers for my YouTube channel. There is a light board on the way that quotes 'Namma Chennai', which means, our Chennai, along with which was a sculpture of 'Thambi'. There was an entry ticket to the lighthouse. Almost whole of the beach is visible from the top of the lighthouse. the view from the top is breathtaking. The beach is very well maintained, which makes it a very clean beach. A lighthouse technical museum is also located near the lighthouse. The museum has old pictures of Madras. It shows the area sarrounding the lighthouse and the Marina Beach, and it has the instruemnts that are required in a lighthouse, and by sailors. As I left the lighthouse and moved towards the beach, I was eager to drink some coconut water, but I couldn't find it anywhere inside the beach. I had thought that I will walk till the end point of the beach, but it is so long that I just could not. But it was a nice experience. As I visited a beach after a very long time and the beach was very clean. The cool breeze was very relaxing, giving a feeling, similar to that of being in a mountain. As the time passed, the beach started getting filled with people and eventually it got very very crowded. When I just arrived, I was confused as I did not see many people. After walking for a long time and searching for coconut water, I had to settle with drinking sugarcane juice as there was no coconut water stall anywhere. Later, I saw a sea food stall and decided to eat a crab. It was the first time in my life that I ate a crab. As I sat there, I found a group of very friendly people, belonging to Madras (Chennai). I had great conversation with them. They shared a lot of information about sea food and also about Chennai. I also took the experience of eating a crab along with them. As I moved ahead I saw a huge market, in which there was a lady, who wrote two names on a single grain of rice, with the help of her pen, which had a really thin nib. So, I got my parents name written on a grain a rice and bought it from her. Then I came out of the beach, and saw a great sculpture, with samadhi of MGR and Jayalalithaa. I was still unable to find a coconut water seller anywehre. I asked many people around but nobody could tell, where exactly will I find it. At last, when I had lost all the hope, on my way back to Royapettah I was finally able to find a coconut water seller and fulfil my desire to drink it. 00:00 Going to the Biggest beach in India - Marina Beach 10:05 Light House in Marina Beach 15:06 Light House Museum 16:18 World's 2nd Longest Beach in Chennai India 23:56 Eating crab for first time | Sea Food at Marina Beach 32:20 Two names in one rice 33:37 Finally found Coconut Water somewhere in Royapettah ✅SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL for more videos https://www.youtube.com/socialsudo ✅Add me on Instagram @socialsudo https://www.instagram.com/socialsudo/
