“Rainforests can be restored through human effort.“ After years of destruction, the forest around the Soka Institute of the Amazon near Manaus, Brazil, had become a wasteland due to deforestation and factory development. Then, through years of efforts by the Soka Institute, land that was once barren is now a thriving forest with endangered tree species and animals native to the area.
