@SEIA 2019 Diversity Challenge Roundtable

In May 2019, SEIA issued a challenge to our members and the broader energy industry to take steps to address diversity. Nearly 80 energy companies and organizations answered that call. They made commitments to emphasize diversity at their companies and in their industries, and are already taking steps toward creating a more equitable work environment. This challenge kicked-off with an event at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, where SEIA and The Solar Foundation released a new diversity study, and partners from the American Association of Blacks in Energy and the White House Initiative on HBCUs laid out concrete steps for improving diversity in our industry.
