Solely Reminiscence's video: Latvian National Museum of Art Sibelius Sonata for Piano op 67 nr 1

__________________ Victoria must be happy that I finally (in summer 2017) visited Riga, her hometown. She always mentioned that spending a few days there would not disappoint me, yet I think even two weeks there would still have delighted me ... In this brief video, I recorded some of my favourite paintings seen in Latvian National Museum of Art, only a few were selected here cause there are too many impressive ones that I couldn't have recorded all. "Last Balcony" (1990) (195x283cm), dedicated to Painters' Section of the Artists Union, painted by Dzintars Zilgalvis "Airport" (2009) (230x345cm), painted by Andris Eglitis "Nothing from Nothing" (2008) (326x580cm), painted by Janis Avotins, there I made the photo including a lady standing at the corner, I just find her telling - the size of the painting! Of course inside the painting there is also a lady, suggesting the vast nature where she is in. *** Another memorable moment there was at its top floor, there was a special painting workshop, gathering the admirers of Biruta Baumane (1922-2017), selecting and replicating their favourites of the artist; whereas the hall exhibits 26 paintings of her. I was so happy to be present there ... ___________________ As for the music that I chose : Sibelius' Piano Sonata op 67 nr 1, 1st and 3rd movements (04:40). I love these two short pieces very much, yet I must say that Glenn Gould played them so well that, I wonder if these scores are in another pianist's hands, will the music come out as such marvel, well, just a thought! ___________________
