Soma1509's video: Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PC - Benchmark Run

@Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn [PC] - Benchmark Run
Shown here is the benchmark run for the PC version of Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn. As expected from any upcoming recent MMORPG, this game seems to be more CPU intensive than anything else. Surprisingly, the Closed Beta client performs a bit better than this benchmark. At any rate, this should give people a feel for how well this game will run on a low-end to mid-end machine. These series of videos will be solely dedicated to benchmarking the most popular PC game titles and 3D applications currently available. So long as a game or 3D application has a stand-alone Benchmarking tool, I will capture as much footage from different games and apps as possible. If there are any other stand-alone benchmarks that you think I should try, let me know and I might try it out and upload a run here. ___ Graphics Settings: Graphics Presets: Custom Screen Mode: Full Screen Resolution: 1920x1080 *General* Improve overall graphic quality: Enabled Smooth edges (Anti-Aliasing): Enabled Increase transparent lighting quality: Enabled Grass Quality: High *Shadows* Display: All Shadow Resolution: High - 2048 pixels Shadow Cascading: High Shadow Softening: High *Texture Detail* Texture Filtering: High Anisotropic Filtering: High *Effects* Naturally darken the edges of the screen (Limb Darkening): Enabled Blur the graphics around an object in motion (Radial Blur): Enabled Effects While in Motion: Display All Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO): High Glare: Normal *Cinematic Cutscenes* Enable depth of field: Enabled ___ Score [Without using Capture Software]: 6201 Performance: Very High Proof: http://i.imgur.com/von6FVs.png ___ My System Specs: *AMD FX-8320 Piledriver CPU, OCed to 4.750GHz *ASUS Sabertooth 990FX AM3+ TUF Series Motherboard Rev. 1.xx *16GB [4 x 4GB] of 1600MHz of DDR3 RAM, OCed to 2054MHz with 10-11-10-31-2T timings *2 NVIDIA GeForce GTX480's in SLI *1 NVIDIA GeForce GTX460 for dedicated PhysX *128GB Crucial M4 Solid State Drive *4TB RAID0 Hard Disk Array strictly for Games and Apps *1TB JBOD Hard Disk Array for Media and Long-Term Storage * Corsair AX1200 1200 Watt Power Supply OS Used: Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit NVIDIA Drivers Used: 320.49 ___ Video captured using DxTory Video Capture Software at 1080p resolution, using the Lagarith Lossless CODEC at 30 Frames Per Second with RGBA color sampling.
