Soma1509's video: Gas Guzzlers: Combat Carnage PC - Lap Knockout: Elephant Butte Pass

@Gas Guzzlers: Combat Carnage [PC] - Lap Knockout: Elephant Butte Pass
You know how sometimes you go to a generic retail store, or a highway gas station, and you find these very random, and possibly quite terrible PC games meant to be played by people who still own computers that run on Windows 98? With such "outstanding" games like "Dora's Big Birthday Adventure", "Jewel Quest III", "Real Deel Card Games 2011", "Vacation Quest: The Hawaiian Islands", probably some "Truck Simulator" somewhere in the midst, or even "Brain Games: Legends 2 - Hidden Relics"? I swear I did NOT make those names up on the spot. At least where I live, you can find said generic games like those listed above in retail or online stores like Wal-Mart or Target, or even one of those fancy highway gas stations that probably have a McDonalds and a gift shop right under the same roof, all for an affordable price. So, what's my point? Well, this racing game has a particular vibe to it: A unique vibe that can only be found in finding really bad and generic games like the ones I just mentioned above...except to my surprise, this game is SURPRISINGLY GOOD! And it only costs 15 bucks online! Although you do need a PC from the 21st century to run this game, since it uses "revolutionary 3D graphics". By "3D graphics", I mean graphics that don't look like cardboard cutouts suddenly splashed on the screen with content that's been hand-drawn with crayons. Anyway, this racing game is pretty straight-forward: You race other A.I. racers which are surprisingly challenging at times depending on the difficulty [or other players if you play online]. Those other racers will also attempt to shoot your car down until you explode with the use of weapons and power-ups found all over the race tracks. Luckily, you can do the same exact thing, while avoiding the "exploding to a million pieces" part. Your goal is to win 1st place, though the game doesn't punish you if you don't place 1st...unless you're playing Lap Knockouts, 'cause that's a different story. When you win or complete races, you earn money. You earn money if either A) Place 3rd or better, B) Collect money found in the racetrack itself or C) if you manage to cross the finish line in one piece during Lap Knockouts. With that money, you can buy cars that are better than your hunk of junk, weapons that can actually hit something, and stuff that makes your car go faster than 5 miles per hour. You also earn points every time you place podium. Since there is a ranking system in this game, the more points you earn, the better your rank. When you finally reach number 1 in the rankings, you qualify to enter a tournament cup. All you have to do is pay the tournament fee and kick ass like you've always done. When you win the tournament, you win money as well as a new car. Then the process repeats itself over and over again! Hooray! Not into weapons in your racing game? No problem! You can also do races with only power-ups throughout the racetrack, but no weapons. If you want a racing game session where only pure speed and skills should be rewarded, without power-ups OR weapons, I think you can only do that if you either select the "Quick Race" option or if you play Multiplayer, should that be your thing. Did I mention you can customize the look of your car, so that way your pieces of metal can fly all over the place with pretty colors? It's like confetti...ON FIRE! For 15 bucks, this racing game is actually pretty fun, and does not suck! If you like arcade racing games like I do, then go get it! This game should be sold in every gas station and retail store in America! Because I said so. Buy it here: http://www.gamepires.com/gamepires-store.aspx Want this game to appear on Steam?
