We did it! We survived our first trip to Disneyland with toddler twin girls. I’ve been wanting to take them for a while, but due to the price (and overwhelming nature of the place), I wanted to wait til they could really appreciate it, but still before their 3rd birthday while they were free. So we literally went the month before their birthday. It was so much better than I even expected. I did research ahead of time on tips for taking young ones and which rides they would/wouldn’t like. And I think it was perfect... (aside from them not really taking naps). I also really tried to make it as “budget friendly” as possible. We purchased Disney themed toys, stickers, candy, etc. ahead of time at Walmart or the dollar store so that they wouldn’t wanna buy things there every time we walked into a gift shop. I embellished their little cheapy Minnie ears (which they wore for two seconds) and brought our own outside food and drink. This definitely helps keep the cost down. In fact the Minnie emoji pillows I got for $5 at Walmart were identical to the ones there for $28!
