And with anger, they opened their third eye, so that Cupid was consumed. But on the courtesy of Kamadev's wife Rati, he gave the body back to Cupid. Then the Goddess Ganga, who was sitting in her hair, delivered her anger to Sarwan, where the six-lord 'Sharavan Bhav' was born and this child was raised by 6 Apsaras. Later Kartikeya was born by combining the six heads by Goddess Parvati. Kartikeya was born for the destruction of Tarakasur and he later led the army of the Gods to slaughter the dying star.
