Kennar Lewis along with Charith Asalanka scored 62 and 28 runs respectively. However, after the openers were dismissed, all the other batters followed them to the pavilion quickly for just one-digit scores. Colombo Stars had to chase down a total of 147 runs and Dinesh Chandimal made an important 44 runs. Seekkuge Prasanna finally finished off the game with five sixes and took the Stars to a victory. Prasanna was also named the player of the match for scoring 32 runs from just 6 deliveries and for picking up one wicket.
