Sonya Rose Atkinson's video: Whales of Moss Landing

My husband and I drove up the coast from Los Angeles to San Francisco for an eye medical trial and we stopped to go whale watching at Moss Landing. We heard that people were seeing lots of whales there. It was true. On our evening cruise, we saw about 20 whales, 10 close to the boat. I had severe double vision, but was able to capture this short video of the whales on my phone..... The video was cut off abruptly because my mom called in! Classic timing! It is true what they say, though, about the GOOD LUCK of seeing a Whale's Tail.... I saw quite a few. On the way home from the medical trial, I regained my vision. and I was able to drive after 2 1/2 years of not being able to. Truly a miracle..... I don't have any tattoos, but if I were to get my first one -- it would be a whale's tail!
