Psyche Entertainments''s video: Padmashri K G Jayan at Chembai Ekadashi Sangeetholsavam 2014

One of the illuminous exponents of Carnatic Music, especially devotional songs, K.G.Jayan was trained under Padmavibhooshan Balamuralikrishna and Padmavisbhoosan Chembai Vaidhyanatha Bhagvathar. His songs have been recorded on HMV, Columbia, Sariga, Magnasound and several other leading music companies. His Ayyappa devotional songs have been alltime hits. Even today his song is played daily at Sabrimala. K G Jayan Sir was one of the recipients of Padmashri this year - 2019. I have had the wonderful privilege of listening him live more than once. This footage was shot at Chembai Ekadashi Sangeetholsavam 2014, for compiling the documentary on K G Jayan Sirs guru, Padmavisbhoosan Chembai Vaidhyanatha Bhagvathar.
