I completely agree. My thoughts: Sometimes we have an entitlement mentality without even realizing it. You expect things from people died to the nature of your relationship but they can choose to do or not do, and you can decide how to respond. You also should never feel an obligation to anyone for any reason. His beef with his Son showed his Son has the same attitude his Mother has and that is that 50 SHOULD anything. No one has to do anything for you as an adult. Accept what's given, accept what's not given and keep it moving in gratitude. You owe you parents NOTHING for having you and taking care of you. Your parents owe you nothing as well. No one is obligated to love you. Anyone can walk at any moment. Also, if you want reparations you just get them, they will never be handed to you.
