This is the video about Hangseshwari temple. This is an ancient historical temple of Bengal. Hanseswari Temple. It was built as a dedication to the Hindu Goddess 'Kali'. The construction of the temple started in 1799. The local king, Raja Nrisingha Deb Roy received the mother's order in a dream and started the construction of this temple. He could not complete the work. After his death, the construction of this temple was completed in 1814 by his widow Rani Shankari. Since then, it became known as a prominent religious site in the region. The architecture of the temple is the first thing that catches your eye. Because such architecture has not been seen in any temple. This temple is gloriously known for its breathtaking Indian architecture and religious significance. The structure of the temple has a representation of the 'Tantric Satchakraved'. The structure of architecture refers to the structure of the human body. Those parts are Bajraksha, Ira, Chitrini, Pingala, and Sushumna respectively. The Hanseswari temple has around 13 towers, and their sculptures are designed like lotus buds. Inside the sanctum sanctorum is Maa Hanseswari as an avatar of Goddess Maa Kali. This statue is made of wood. The idol of the mother is placed in such a way that it looks like she is standing on the lotus created from the navel of Lord Shiva.
