Since in 2020 of march howrah division has decided that hwh Siuri intercity express will not run anymore in Sainthia Siuri stretch because of rake reversal and low patronage of this train, and aslo some kind of internal politics. Then Eastern Railway howrah division decided to extend the train upto radhikapur, which renamed as Kulik express and yes the experiment was very successful with higher patronage. But the commuters of suiri area where facing a massive connectivity loss towards Bardhaman and Kolkata, then railways decided to run another train via Andal and Durgapur towards Sealdah which is in our main Kolkata. In 31st July 2022 Railway finally launched the Memu train between Siuri and Sealdah via Andal, and the people of this route are so excited.
