Original Musicaid Clap Trap. A British percussion classic, freshly serviced by James Walker. A simple run through the settings: two minutes showing the two separate sounds and then combining them. Then one minute at a slower tempo so you can hear the sustain on the hisssssssss. aka Simmons Clap Trap - although the Simmons-badged one is later and the sound was tweaked... I recorded a mono instrument in mono - it was a quick demo for a customer but I thought it would be useful to share as our old youtube Clap Trap demo was pretty crap trap tbh :)
