Today was the intro of water and his first time to every see a lake. He did very well! We started by just throwing in very swallow water until he got comfortable. Then we started throwing longer retrieves. Always keep an eye on your dog and know when he is tired so he don't get out in the lake and get in trouble from exhaustion. Labs are a natural for water but remember to introduce water slow until they are comfortable. Don't just throw them in and make them scared of water. How to train Labrador Retriever.
