Hi,in this video we can see how to make Peas Pulao in Tamil
PEAS PULAO
INGREDIENTS
Green peas - 1 cup
basmati rice - 1 cup
water - 1.5 cup
onion - 1
green chilies - 3
garam masala - ¼ tsp
cumin powder - ½ tsp
ghee - 2 tbsp
bay leaf - 1
mace - 1
cloves - 2
cardamom - 2
star anise - 1
small piece cinnamon
curd - 1 tbsp
ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
coriander leaves
salt
METHOD OF PREPARATION
1.In a cooker heat 2 tbsp ghee.Saute 1 bay leaf,1 star anise,small piece cinnamon,2 cloves ,2 cardamom , 1 mace for 2 minutes.
2.Add 1 onion and 3 green chilies until onions become golden brown.
3.When the onions become soft add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste and continue to saute.
4.When the onions are well cooked add required salt,¼ tsp garam masala,½ tsp cumin powder and 1 tbsp curd.Mix well.
5.Add 1 cup basmati rice which was soaked in water for about 30 minutes.
6.Add 1½ cups water and few coriander leaves.Add salt if required.
7.Mix well and cook on low flame upto 1 whistle.
PEAS PULAO READY !!!
