Hi in this video we can see how to make Soya Aloo Pulao in Tamil.This recipe was prepared by Vichitra in Cooku with Comali show telecasted on Vijay Television. SOYA ALOO PULAO | COOK WITH COMALI RECIPES INGREDIENTS soya chunks - ½ cup curd - 1 tbsp turmeric powder - ½ tsp garam masala - ¼ tsp chili powder - 1¾ tsp basmati rice - 1 cup ghee - 2 tbsp bay leaf - 1 small piece cinnamon cardamom - 2 cloves - 2 cumin - ¼ tsp onions - 2 green chilies - 2 ginger garlic paste - ½ tsp tomato - 1 potato - 1 coriander leaves mint leaves water salt oil METHOD OF PREPARATION 1.Soak ½ cup soya chunks in hot water for about 10 minutes and remove the excess water. 2.Marinate the soya with 1 tbsp curd,¼ tsp turmeric powder,1 tsp chili powder and needed salt for 15 minutes. 3.Soak 1 cup basmati rice for 30 minutes. 4.In a pressure cooked add 2 tbsp ghee and little oil.When it heats up add 1 bay leaf,small piece cinnamon,2 cardamom,2 cloves and ¼ tsp cumin. 5.Saute 2 onions.When it becomes soft add 2 green chilies and ½ ginger garlic paste. 6.When the onions are cooked add 1 tomato and cook until its soft and mushy. 7.Add ¼ tsp turmeric powder,¾ tsp chili powder and ¼ tsp garam masala.Saute until the raw smell spices goes. 8.Add 1 potato and the marinated soya.Mix well.Saute for about 5 minutes. 9.Add handful of mint and coriander leaves.Add required salt and 2 cups hot water with the soaked rice 10.Once the water boils cook upto 2 whistles.
