MANGO PHIRNI | MANGO DESSERT | COOK WITH COMALI RECIPE INGREDIENTS mango - 1 basmati rice - ¼ cup sugar - ¼ cup milk - 500 ml cardamom powder chopped nuts METHOD OF PREPARATION 1.Soak ¼ cup basmati rice for about 30 minutes.Dry them on a cotton cloth for 15 minutes and then grind it to a semolina consistency.Do not powder it. 2.Heat 500 ml milk and cook the rice for 15-20 minutes on low flame.Stir occasionally. 3.Make mango puree with 1 riped mango and when the rice is well cooked and thickens,add the mango puree and mix well. 4.Check the taste and add sugar as per your requirement.I have added ¼ cup sugar. 5.Mix well.Once the sugar melts and heat up add little cardamom powder and a few nuts. 6.Transfer it to a serving bowl and when it cools down refrigerate it.
