SouthwesternAdv's video: Sen Blackburn Asst Sec Marie Royce Bulgarian Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev visit Southwestern

On June 13th and 14th 2019, Global Educational Concepts along with host employer Southwestern Advantage were honored to have guests Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn, Assistant Secretary of State Marie Royce, and Bulgarian Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev to our campus where they each addressed two hundred international students who are participating in the United States Department of State’s exchange visitors program. Senator Blackburn, an alumna of the Southwestern Advantage program, inspired each of the students as she shared her experiences in the program and how that led to the U.S. Senate. Assistant Secretary Royce spoke on the value that Exchange Visitors bring to the U.S. and discussed their health, safety, and well-being while in the USA. Ambassador Stoytchev shared the ways in which his home country Bulgaria has been positively impacted by this very important program.
