Yummy & Easy Sugar Cookies | Robin & Ronda in the Kitchen! Hi Everyone! šŸ’– My dear friend Robin invited me to her beautiful home to learn to make these special cookies, which she so affectionately calls, ā€œGrandma Dori Cookiesā€. Sheā€™s been baking these for 40 years in honor of the woman who lived across the street from them when her kids were small and they adopted Grandma Dori as their own. Robin shares the story and I know youā€™ll love it as she talks about her in the most delightful way! These cookies are so addicting and scrumptious! I dare you to eat just one! Haha They are a delicate sugar cookie with a little crunch! They make a perfect Christmas cookie and also a wonderful gift for someone special! You canā€™t go wrong with this cookie! Hereā€™s the recipe: 1 cup of softened butter (For best results use a good quality butter) 1 cup of granulated sugar Cream together till well blended and a little fluffy Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla - blend again till thoroughly mixed Sift together the following dry ingredients: 1 3/4 cup of flour 1 teaspoon each of salt, baking soda and baking powder Slowly add to butter mixture and mix till all dry ingredients are moist Add 3/4 cup of crispy rice (I use a generic brand) and beat untill completly blended - don't over beat Gently scoop a heaping tablespoon of cookie dough into your palm and roll into a small ball. Place on a cookie sheet (I use parchment paper on the cookie sheet). Gently press a fork down on the rolled dough to make stripes. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes for soft cookies and up to 20 minutes if you prefer a crispier cookie. Remove from oven and allow cookies to cool slightly before removing them from the cookie sheet. Transfer cookie to cooling rack (and try not to eat them all right away!) They will store nicely in an air-tight container if you have any left! Recipe yields 26-28 cookies! My Amazon Storefront I am an official Amazon Influencer.
