How to Crochet a Wearable Blanket w/Red Heart Jumbo Super Saver Yarn Hi Everyone! 💖 I created a wearable blanket! This is so perfect for those chilly nights on the couch or hanging out at a picnic. You could crochet it in your favorite sports team colors and wear it to the game! Haha! I can't wait to make a blue and white one for my favorite baseball team, the Dodgers! How fun! It makes a great gift for a baby or anyone going through a health issue or just to let someone know you are thinking of them. It would make a great prayer shawl, too! It's so easy because it's made with Half Double Crochets, and crocheted between the stitches, so it's an great blanket to take with you because it's not too big. The entire blanket is made with half double crochets! I love this stitch! I also made a tie out of chains and added some beads for some pizzaz, so you can tie it around your shoulders, which is easy to wear. When you're done wearing it as a shawl, you can use the tie to wrap it up! The tie makes it look like a "ready to give" gift! Yay! It's adorable! The striped pattern is easy to follow and so trendy. It would be lovely in cream and white or pink and gray. I can't wait to make more of these and give them as Christmas gifts! The pom pom edging is super adorable (a little time consuming, but so worth it!) I hope you give it a try and give a few of them away.
