Sparkly One's video: Refresh Your Bedroom Without Spending Money

Hi Everyone! 💖 Refresh your bedroom without spending any money! You can use whatever you have around the house to make a new and fresh look, just use your creativity! I love to paint so I had to find a color that was lighter than what I had already. I ended up mixing 2 colors of paint together (different brands) and the out come was so pretty! The paints are Iron Gate by Behr (sold at Home Depot) and Porpoise by Dunn Edwards. It was an easy project because I only had to paint one accent wall. I took down the curtains for a cleaner look. I painted my brass bed about 7 years ago and I think it's so cool with the contrast of the wall now. I painted my "Cinderella" dresser and two side tables in Swiss Coffee by Behr Alkyd Satin enamel paint, which is what I used for my cabinets throughout my whole house. They turned out so "shabby chic" like and and think they are so pretty and add a soft romantic look to my bed. I will have a tutorial for you in a few weeks, so keep an eye out for that. I used remnants of fabrics that I've had for years to make the pillows, and I also made two pillow cases from sheets that were shoved in my linen closet that I never even opened! Haha! It's amazing what you can find in there! I really needed something for the wall behind my bed, but I didn't was anything too big, so I made a sign! I absolutely love it! It's the word "SPARKLE" because I seriously love sparkly things and always have since I was a little girl. I have a garage full of tools and lots of scraps of wood (I also love cutting wood, making projects around the house and using scroll saw as well) so I thought how perfect to make a sign! I will have a tutorial for that in a few weeks. Yay! I hope you are inspired to use what you have around the house and in the garage, it's a great project to be creative with and see what you can come up with without spending any money at all.
