Quick & Easy Crochet | Oversized Scarf and Shawl Combo Hi Everyone! 💖 How beautiful is the yarn! Hobbii yarns sent me this yarn for free and I couldn't wait to make something beautiful and cozy! It's made with a variegated worsted weight yarn and it a dream to work with! The colors are so vidid and bright! It makes a perfect gift because it is a fairly quick project. I created this fun chunky fringe border, too! I hope you like it! You can make it as large or as small as you'd like. It will fit all sizes! Please check out all of their beautiful yarns at: www.hobbii.com Here is the knitted scarf that I mentioned at the beginning of my video https://youtu.be/tAOvoR5mlGo 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 💖 Hobbii yarn (4-5 skiens) Malaga Print in the color Rose Garden (07) 5 skeins = 900 yards or 874 Meters Hook size F/5 or 3.75 mm Row 1 Make a Magic Circle, ch 4, 4 dc in MC (5 total with ch 4), this will make the point of your shawl. Close the MC by pulling to snug it up. Should look like a triangle. Row 2 Ch 4 (counts as first DC every time), put 2 DC in same st (always do this a beginning of each row for a total of 3 DC), DC in each stitch across and make sure to put 3 DC in top of 4th chain at the end of the row (always do this at the end of each row) Row 3 and all other rows, repeat until you have the desired size you want. I ended with 187 DC on last row. (You can make it bigger if you want & you’ll have more stitches across) Border Work from the top left side down and around to the other side. Join yarn at top left side with front side facing you with a sl st Ch 15, HDC in 3rd ch from hook and in each chain down to edge of shawl Join w/sl st at the edge row of the DC row.
