Eggman meets Shadow, who reveals to him the Eclipse Cannon, a powerful weapon which uses the power of the Chaos Emeralds to destroy an entire planet. Eggman, Shadow, and Rouge soon team up to infiltrate Prison Island to steal the remaining Chaos Emeralds and destroy the island.
