Spikey Buddy's video: Spikey Live - Xenogears Part 3

So Fei and Citan enter Dazil to fetch a part for Weltall at the shop, but are told they don't have the part. Citan comes up with the bright idea to rent a sand buggy to retrieve some old parts in the desert, but after being told that the desert was dangerous, Fei pursues. He runs into strange gears, a flying saucer, and soldiers on motorcycles. Fei manages to hijack a motorcycle and he's eventually surrounded by gears, but Citan manages to save Fei from his predicament when he arrives piloting Weltall. However, a mysterious masked and cloaked man named Grahf tells him what happened in Lahan was orchestrated, and he was meant to destroy the village and kill everyone. He also claims to know more about Fei's past. Unfortunately, Fei and Citan are captured by Aveh forces and imprisoned on a carrier ship. Their luck changes when a sand cruiser is attacked, but the carrier ship begins sinking and filling with sand. Fei and Citan managed to break out of their room and escape the ship, but it seems someone in a red Gear wants a fight, thinking Fei was an Aveh soldier. Unfortunately, the ground beneath them gives way and both the stranger and Weltall fall into the Stalactite Caves below. The man in the red gear introduces himself as Bart, and now Fei and Bart have to escape while piloting their respective Gears. Soon, they stumble upon a small cave where a strange old man lives. He introduces himself as Isaac Balthasar, or Ol' Man Bal. He seems very knowledgeable about the world and has experience with Gear maintenance. Ol'Man Bal makes a deal with Fei and Bart where they have to deactivate two sand sensors somewhere in the caves, and Bal opens up the exit to the surface. The deal is done, and Bal takes a look at the gears Fei and Bart came in, only to discover Weltall. He calls the Gear "the Host for the Slayer of God", and demands Fei and Bart to leave. The duo make their way to the exit, only to be ambushed by a robust Gear called Calamity, which turns out to be a tough fight, but Fei manages to blow the Gear to pieces by executing a powerful move that was done by his own instincts, and has no idea how he used that power. They make their way out of the caves and back to Bart's ship the Yggdrasil, where Fei is reunited with Citan. This part is where the Gears become a far bigger factor in combat, and we begin building up their stats. We only control two gears: Weltall and Brigandier.
