SpringStyleAGStudios's video: American Girl Doll Benefit Sale 2017

@American Girl Doll Benefit Sale 2017
Hello Everyone! I am SO sorry for the lack of videos! I've been in summer school and I plan to work hard on videos till school starts back up! Thank you so very very very much for 3,000 subs and almost 1million views on my dressing my dolls video! I can't thank you all enough as I barely post. Benefit: What is it? The Benefit Sale is an event where you can go and buy used dolls. All the money goes to the Maddison Wisconsin Children's Hospital. When? Once a year for a weekend in July. Changes depending the year. Where? Middleton Wisconsin at the American Girl Doll Mattel Warehouse. What is there? DOLLS! Over stocked outfits, accessories, furniture and books are also there. Everything is random and changes every year. This year they had mini dolls, melody's bed, rebecca's beforever meet jacket. Beforever dolls and historical, and past girl of the years but not the present one. Wellie Wishers, bitty babies, bitty twins and truly me. They have truly me, my AG and sometimes Just like you. Condition of dolls: It varies. All the dolls cannot be sold for one reason or another at full price. If a doll is bought and opened up they can no longer be sold at retail price. Some dolls have messy hair, some might have scratches, some have nose shin marks and others have defects. But, some are overstock, some are retired, some are new and some are basically new. When a doll retires all the display dolls and unsold dolls go here. How do I know its a Benefit Sale doll? All Benefit Sale dolls have a little "X" on their bum which is covered by their underwear. You are not suppose to re-sell the dolls but people do anyway :( Why market as used when some are new? Most of the dolls are returned weather the person just opened the box and took the doll out, to taking out the hairnet and having them for a week. 99.9 percent of the time the dolls don't have hairnets as they take them out and the boxes are empty of packaging except for the occasional neck piece. Any sort of doll accessories that comes taped in the box is there unless the original owner took it out. Who runs it? Volunteers of the children's hospital or just volunteers. They work hard to get the dolls out and ready to be bought. How do I go? Check the Madison Wisconsin Children's Hospital website under the Benefit Sale tab to learn the dates. There you print out a form and send it to the Madison Wisconsin Children's museum with the money inside. You cannot send it in before a certain date which is listed on the website. What else? Outside the warehouse there are vender tents were they sell other handmade doll items and other things. You can buy water and refreshments too. In a tent there are 3 lanes with time signs to line up under. When it is the time on your ticket, you like up under the tent and are lead in by a volunteer. There are also silent auctions and raffles. Tickets? Day one, Saturday, tickets are $7 per person. The day starts at 8am and 100 people go in at a time. Keep in mind, people line up early so they can be the first in their time entry. People also sell tickets there sometimes. To keep the warehouse safe, only a little over 100 people can be inside at a time. The benefit sale does go behind time as if not enough people are out after 15 minutes, then they have to make the next group wait. Every 15 minutes is a new group of 100 people. Day 2, Sunday, the first hour starting at 8am is $20 and after that it is free. If you bought the $20 ticket (Limited to 2 people I think...might be 4) the procedure is the same as Saturday. People who come for free wait out for hours, some arriving around 5am. Camping out is not allowed. Price: Prices change each year along with the products. It is a gamble. Typically, the previous GOTY is full price. Then older GOTY's are around $80-100. Historical/beforever are around $75-80 and truly me are $50-57. This is all from this year and last years pricing for day one. Day 2 GOTY can be $80ish (This year Isabelle and grace were $50 and Lea was $80) and Beforever dolls can have difference prices depending on the doll. Around $60-75ish. Truly me can go $30-35 so they are the biggest deal. I hope this was helpful and you enjoyed the video! Grace's clip was lost in editing.... Thanks for the support, ~Crystal
