SprinkleOfPaige's video: REACHING INTO THE CONTACT SELF EVALUATION COMMENTARY

This ride was a ride to assess ourselves and get back into the swing of things. After this ride, and watching footage back I have a whole list of things that I want to conquer and fix over the next 6 months or so ranging from position, to application of the aids, to effectiveness etc. In saying that though I was very impressed with Winston during this ride. Despite me asking for more then I have in the past week, and trying to crank up the intensity a little bit he handled the pressure very well, stayed content the whole ride and didn’t play up, something he can tend to do when he is asked for a little bit more. On our first ride back I virtually applied no technicality, on our second ride I applied small amounts but still gave him a lot of leisure time, on our third ride we did some jumping, cranked up the intensity but were still having fun and I felt like this ride was the most demanding one this past week.
